Each week from June 2013 until May 2014, Celia and Nicola enabled service users at Trafford Carers Centre to help transform the Centre’s car parks into thriving growing spaces.

As well as grow produce, Carefree Gardeners’ sessions cooked up healthy and affordable meals using harvested and seasonal food. Through the project participants also grew their own on a community plot at Seymour Grove Allotments, as well as take on their own plot at Gorse Hill, Stretford.
